Frequently asked questions

Which fan should be used for a greenhouse?

Greenhouses typically use high-airflow square axial fans. 100x100 cm suits small and medium greenhouses, while 140x140 cm delivers the same air exchange with fewer units in large greenhouses. Your greenhouse's width, length and height are enough for an exact selection.

How large an area can a farm fan cover?

The area one fan covers depends on ceiling height, animal density and the required air changes per hour. The Choose Your Fan calculator on this page recommends a fan count based on your building volume.

What is the difference between 100x100 and 140x140 fans?

The 140x140 cm fan moves more air thanks to its larger blade diameter, so large volumes need fewer units. The 100x100 cm fan fits more compact openings and is offered with a 380V motor.

What is the difference between 220V and 380V fans?

220V fans connect directly to single-phase mains. 380V (three-phase) fans run more steadily and efficiently in facilities with industrial power. The 140x140 fan comes in both options; the 100x100 fan comes in 380V.

How many fans do I need?

Fans needed = volume (width × length × height) × air changes per hour ÷ fan airflow. The required air changes depend on the use case. Send us your dimensions on WhatsApp and we will size it together.

Where can the fans be used?

Greenhouses, barns, poultry houses, dairies, factories, warehouses, workshops and production plants — any large space that needs hot, humid, dusty or polluted air removed.
03Greenhouse Fan

Greenhouse fan FAQ

How many fans does a greenhouse need?

It depends on volume and local summer heat. Enter your dimensions in the Fan Selector to see the recommended quantity.

How are fans placed with pad-cooling?

Fans go on one end wall and cooling pads on the opposite end so cool air flows the full length.

Why a louvered model?

Louvers close when the fan stops, reducing heat loss in cold weather and backflow in wind.

04Farm Fan

Farm fan FAQ

How many fans does a poultry house need?

It depends on volume, animal count and local summer heat. Enter your dimensions in the Fan Selector or send them via WhatsApp for a project calculation.

Where should barn fans be mounted?

Wall fans go on the end wall to pull air along the barn; hanging fans go above feeding and resting areas, angled slightly towards the animals.

220V or 380V?

With three-phase power, 380V models suit long, heavy operation. Without it, the 140×140 220V single-phase model connects to standard mains.

05Exhaust Fan

Exhaust fan FAQ

Are exhaust fans used in winter too?

Yes — run intermittently to remove humidity, dust, smoke and odours; louvers close when stopped to limit cold air.

Are they suitable for fire smoke extraction?

No. They are for general extraction of process smoke, dust and odours. Fire smoke extraction requires certified (e.g. F400) fans.

Can they be mounted on sandwich panels?

Yes, with the installation kit for sandwich-panel and sheet walls.
